Recently, I have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to move to the island of Bali to join a Non-Profit Organization called Rescue 2000 INC. Growing up, I was extremely fortunate to be able to watch my mother have such a significant impact on the lives of so many people through her career as a special-needs educator. After losing my mother I quickly realized how delicate life truly is, and since then I have been determined to live a life dedicated to helping those who need it the most. When I was asked to leave my life in America behind and move across the world to join the Rescue 2000 team, there was no doubt in my mind that this was my chance to follow in the footsteps of my mother and fulfill this purpose of providing for the less fortunate. At Rescue 2000, our mission is to provide Food, Water, Shelter, and Education for local Balinese families who have been harshly affected by the economical impacts of Covid-19. Thanks to the help of so many amazing donors In 2021, we were able to provide food packages for over 375 families and build 4 houses for local villagers. In 2022, our goal is to double these numbers by feeding over 650 families and building at least 8 homes, but in order to accomplish these goals we will need your help. We have one very clear mission statement and that is to be ‘the hands, hearts, and eyes of our donors’. My team and I  make it a priority to be completely transparent with how your donations are being put to use, and we are working hard to find new ways to keep you updated with our projects every step of the way. We are extremely optimistic that we will be able to exceed all of our goals for this year, and with the help of our friends and families back home we know our potential outreach is endless!
