Our team will set up a food drop to provide aid for struggling families in remote areas of Bali. Our aim is to provide families with enough food to last them 3-4 weeks.

Since 2000
Serving the forgotten
Rescue 2000 was founded by Miguel Araya in Atlanta and formally launched in 2000. What started as a local effort to feed people on the street has grown, over more than twenty-five years, into an international organization.
Today the work spans two continents. In the U.S., a weekly Atlanta street feed and a monthly Northern Georgia food bank serve our own communities. Abroad, Miguel's sons Cristobal and Elias lead food and home-building programs in Indonesia, always delivered through trusted local partners.
The principle hasn't changed since the beginning: to serve, not to be served, and to prove the result, so every supporter can see exactly where their giving goes.
Meet The Family“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
Matthew 20:28 The verse Rescue 2000 is built on
However you choose to show up, your generosity becomes meals served and homes built for families who need them most.
Come to Bali and see the work firsthand, a hands-on immersion in how real aid gets built.

FAQ
We strive to keep a giving percentage above 70%. This means 70 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to providing for our projects. No member of Rescue 2000 is on payroll. The remaining 30% covers overhead costs, such as transportation, marketing, project fees, and more.
