The challenge

Feburary 28, 2026. Starting in Canggu, Ian will circumnavigate the entire island of Bali. Most people drive it in 9 hours. Ian will run it in 5 days.

This isn’t just about endurance. It’s about hope. Every kilometer Ian runs represents a step closer to giving families in desperate need a place to call home.

Meet Ian Larios

A lot of people know me as a UFC chef, or as the guy who trains world champions. But none of that really defines me.

I’m someone who’s spent my life chasing challenge—not for the sake of glory, but to see what’s on the other side of hard.

I’ve run across Bali before… with a broken foot. I’ve worked through the pain, the doubt, the fear. And I’ve come out the other side with one truth burned into my heart: consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t show up.

That’s why I’m running 460 kilometers around the island of Bali in just 5 days.

Not for a medal. Not for recognition. But for the families who have nothing—yet still believe in something better. For the kids sleeping on dirt floors. For the mothers holding it all together without a roof over their heads. For the forgotten.

I run because I can. Because I believe that one person—one decision—can spark change.

This one’s for the underdogs.

The ones who were never supposed to make it.

And the ones who still believe they can.

Our team

I truly am nothing special…

but I’m a consistent.

I will show up, and I will show out until I can’t. One of my coaches once told me, ‘It’s better to be consistently good than occasionally great.’ That stuck with me. I’m not here to be a hero—I’m here to be consistent, to serve, and to help those who have been forgotten.” “This run is for the underdogs. For the people who were never expected to do anything. I want them to see me and say, ‘If he did it, so can I.'

100% of your donation goes to Rescue 2000, a 501c3 registered in the United States, to build proper homes for families living in abject poverty in Indonesia.

The average cost to build a home for a family here in a Bali falls in the price range of $4,000 – $5,000. Many Balinese villagers are living in extremely harsh conditions and cannot afford to live in proper homes. By choosing to sponsor a home you will enable our team to make an immediate impact on a family’s life by providing them with the shelter they innately deserve.

We strive to keep a giving percentage above 70%. This means 70 cents of every dollar donated will go directly to providing for our projects. The remaining 30% will go to covering overhead costs, such as transportation, marketing, project fees, and more. No member of Rescue 2000 is on payroll, meaning every dollar donated goes directly to our cause.

We build homes for individuals and families in critical need of safe and stable housing. While every case is unique, we prioritize families with young children and elderly individuals who have been left alone or without support.
